Tevalis Top 10: Talking Clients
The Tevalis team have been extremely busy this month deploying our ecosystem of solutions into a variety of different businesses within the hospitality industry. Here’s 10, that this month we’d like to share with you!
1. San Carlo
The award winning San Carlo group has become a popular and very busy empire across the UK, with a number of sites appearing overseas as well as the UK.
Praised by many as the ‘best Italian restaurants’ that the industry has to offer, the team across the group use exceptional ingredients to achieve and maintain that standard. In true Italian style, San Carlo use the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients, of which many are flown in from produce markets across Italy to ensure authenticity runs throughout the restaurants.
With that, we’re extremely proud to be supporting the team with our technology at the newest site on Regent Street, London. Initially, head office were looking for a comprehensive Stock Management system to add to their existing technology suite. However, after meeting with Tevalis, they decided to deploy further technology for a fully consolidated and connected approach, where we’ve now implemented Stock Management as their primary requirement alongside a new bespoke Epos system. The start of a fantastic partnership!
2. Japan House
We’re extremely excited to announce that we’re the technology partners for the new cultural home of Japan in London, Japan House!
Now open to the public, guests can expect to be presented with the very best of Japanese art, design, gastronomy, innovation and technology. This unique venue can be found in Kensington High Street, however as it’s part of a global initiative led by Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they also hold two other Japan Houses in Los Angeles and Sao Paulo.
The site is broken down into three core areas across three floors, which includes a retail area selling Japanese products, an art exhibition and a fine dining Japanese restaurant. To assist the teams across these floors, they required a tailored set up suitable for each area. Key deliverable aspects included having Japanese language across the Pos, ensuring their aesthetic standards met from a hardware perspective and due to tapas style dining, a delay when printing to the kitchen.
Through careful planning with our project team, the team now have their full technology requirements met. This includes bespoke Epos, handheld ordering and three of our cloud-based enterprise modules, Business Reporting, Stock Management and Centralised Management.
3. Red Funnel Ferries
Hop on board with Red Funnel Ferries, providing award winning Isle of Wight ferry travel. Red Funnel is the ‘Original Isle of Wight ferry operator’ and currently carries over three million passengers a year!
So, why did Red Funnel require new technology from Tevalis?
Epos was needed to support the FnB teams in the lounge’s before passengers board the ferry. A core requirement was ensuring speed of service was of the upmost priority. Now, they have over 24 terminals to assist the team, paired with our handheld ordering solution so orders can be taken quickly and efficiently for all passengers before boarding.
Alongside this, our technology is also being utilised across the Red Funnel warehouses, so they can easily manage all of their stock with one seamless system. Specifically for this project, we also integrated with their Customer Relationship Management system, syncing it with our own CRM module for a consolidated offering which consists of maximum functionality. Another fantastic partnership we’re proud to be a part of, also showing how Tevalis technology can offer the flexibility needed to meet our client’s specific requirements.
4. The Bay Fish and Chips
Based in Stonehaven in Scotland, The Bay Fish and Chips is an award-winning venue within it’s sector. Due to the nature and environment of the business, the teams required a quick service set up with the ability to add promotions and edit their products with ease.
Alongside this, gaining transparency into their business across multiple areas with intelligent reporting facilities and having the ability to manage their stock, was essential.
Tevalis were chosen to implement this exact technology, where our answer was a simple yet bespoke Epos system, paired with cloud-based management tools to assist management and head office in the areas they required. Now, the team have a tailored Epos set up, with three core management modules within our Enterprise Suite, Stock Management, Business Reporting and Centralised Management. Ready to go for their peak time of the year, summer!
5. GOGOS Waterfront Restaurant
Situated at Windsor racecourse marina, Go-Go’s is a charming family run restaurant where visitors can enjoy a delicious South African menu paired with stunning views of the marina and countryside. At the heart of the venue, is a unique and relaxed dining experience and we’re pleased to be assisting them further to enhance that experience, with our Epos technology!
Why were Go-Go’s looking for a new Epos system?
Initially, the team had a system which didn’t fulfil their entire requirements from an efficiency perspective. Management were spending hours configuring the system to make new changes when required. Therefore, their core requirement when searching the market for a new Epos platform, was to have an easy to use yet intuitive solution. After their search, the team selected Tevalis as their technology partner.
The teams now benefit from a simple, yet comprehensive Epos system, which has a user-friendly interface with an easy to manage back office to make those required changes in minutes! Handheld ordering is also in place to increase speed of service across the venue as well as the Tevalis Kitchen Management System, ready to enhance their kitchen operations.
To further ensure they have a best of breed system, Tevalis have integrated with their chosen reservation platform, finance and payment system. A consolidated system to push the business forward across all areas!
6. Nine Jars
We’re now supporting the award winning Nine Jars, based in the heart of Haverhill, Suffolk. Whether you’re dining in the bistro, enjoying a cocktail or two in the lounge or staying in the hotel, the teams are guaranteed to offer a fantastic and relaxed service during your stay.
To assist the teams with enhancing that experience, Nine Jars now has a bespoke Tevalis Ecosystem, complete with bespoke Epos, handheld ordering to increase speed of service and two core core Enterprise management modules – Stock Management and Business Reporting.
Alongside this, Nine Jars also utilise our seamless integration with Resdiary to manage their bookings, where all updates and changes are reflected automatically on the Tevalis Pos rather than managing two separate systems! A simple and easy to use technology suite, which can adapt as and when the team need!
7. Pizza Brixton
Calling all pizza enthusiasts, we’re now the technology partners for both Pizza Brixton sites! The growing artisan pizza restaurants were initially created due to the team’s genuine passion for good food and craving for true pizza “Versace” from Naples. Best of all, the products and ingredients are sourced from Puglia, a region in southern Italy famous for it’s beautiful scenery and excellent red wine!
Both sites now have a custom yet simple and efficient Epos set up from Tevalis, alongside Business Reporting for increased transparency into their businesses performance. The team also utilise Stock Management, which has become a key tool for management across both sites.
Perfect for operators who want to keep it simple but require a flexible system which can adapt as they continue to grow.
8. Bocca Social
If you’re looking for a new social restaurant and bar in London, then we’d recommend making a visit to a new venue based in Beckenham, Bocca Social!
They opened their doors to the public in March 2018, however also have plans to roll out another five sites across London. So be sure to keep an eye out for them! With sophisticated and relaxing interiors, the site itself has a fantastic feel, with socialising and dining at the very centre.
With Bocca Social opening further sites in the near future, the team wanted to work with an Epos provider which they could trust for many years to come. Therefore, we’re extremely pleased to be the chosen as part of their journey. Now, the team are using bespoke Epos software with handheld ordering to ensure they can focus on providing the best service, whilst their visitors focus on enjoying their visit. Alongside this, the team wanted a way in which they could manage their kitchen orders efficiently and quickly. Therefore, our Kitchen Management System was the answer. Everything the team needs to get started on their Bocca journey across London!
9. Roots York
If you’ve heard of The Black Swan at Oldstead (rated the World’s Best Restaurant by TripAdvisor!) and Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks, you may have heard that the Banks family are also opening a new site in York.
As they head to the city for a new venture, Roots York will incorporate the unique style of the Black Swan Oldstead, whilst offering casual and playful dishes which focus on quality. So, you know it’s going to be good!
We’re pleased to be supporting the team again, where we’re implementing bespoke Epos, our powerful kitchen management system, the latest in handheld ordering and a selection of management tools from our Enterprise Suite such as Business Reporting, Stock Management and Centralised Management.
It’s always exciting to watch our clients expand due to continued success and with Roots York opening very soon, we’re sure it’s going to be very popular!
10. Barrow Boys
Hull boxer, Tommy Coyle, has now opened his new bar on the popular Humber Street. With it being around the corner from our Head Office, we’re sure it’s going to be one of our personal top places to visit!

Partnering with his brothers on this new venture, the team have promised to deliver a bar like no other in the city – Barrow Boys.
With a social hype surrounding the new bar, we know it’s going to continue to be busy. So, the team required the support of a reliable technology solution which they could trust during those peak times.
