James founded Tevalis in 2005 to provide innovative point of sale and management solutions for the hospitality sector, and has led the company’s growth to become a leading tech provider with a strong presence in the UK, Europe, UAE and Asia. He is dedicated to providing our clients with industry-leading solutions via R&D investments, backed by outstanding training and support, to help them maximise efficiency, better manage costs and drive sustained revenue growth. Prior to founding Tevalis, James was Operations Manager at PCS Cashless Payment Systems Ltd, where he recognised a huge opportunity to develop and tailor ePOS systems that would meet the ever-expanding needs of hospitality operators.
An experienced commercial and operations executive, James is passionate about the hospitality industry, delivering Tevalis solutions and driving our revenue growth in Europe, North Africa, USA, UAE and SE Asia. He has more than 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, partnerships and operations, working across different verticals and hardware, software and integrated tech platforms. Previously Sales Operations Manager at Partner Tech UK Corp Ltd and Sales and Marketing Manager at UK Peripherals Limited, he joined Tevalis in 2009 as our employee number three. As Commercial Director, he leads Tevalis activities to create and execute sales, marketing and partnership strategies and processes, whilst supporting development of new technology campaigns.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality and retail technology space, Hira is dedicated to innovation. Previously Chief Product Officer for the Social Ordering App ‘Glug’, and a tenure with , Zonal Retail Data Systems Ltd & Flooid, he joined Tevalis in 2022 to lead our Product and Development function across the business, ensuring it stays attuned to the needs of the industry, enabling our customers to embrace change, and reacting quickly to consumer and market demands.
James is a CFO/Finance Director with experience gained in a variety of sectors. This includes extensive experience working on boards and advising business owners and senior leadership teams, managing rapid growth, working with external investors and funders, and leading projects to agreed outcomes. A Chartered Accountant who trained with PwC and has worked at EY, he was previously CFO at specialist litigation and commercial law firm rradar, and partner and head of audit and business advisory at Ford Campbell Freedman LLP. James joined Tevalis as our Finance Director in October 2020 and is an Executive Board Director.
Russell has more than 25 years’ experience in managing major accounts across hospitality, leisure and retail. He specialises in business unit, team management and Tier One clients in multiple verticals, from strategic solutions planning through to delivery. Prior to joining Tevalis, he worked at Micros and Torex Retail, both now part of Oracle Hospitality. As our Director of Account Services, Russell ensures that all customers benefit from being part of the Tevalis Ecosystem, with leading-edge solutions and account services that help them to grow their business.
Heidi has worked in hospitality tech for more than 20 years in senior strategic marketing, business development and communications roles. Including Marketing Director at Triangle & Head of Marketing at MSL Ltd (formally Verteda Ltd). She has also worked as a college lecturer and assessor for marketing and business administration courses. As Director of Marketing, Heidi is responsible for the strategy of Tevalis marketing, messaging, events and communications activity. Committed to marketing innovation, she has a passion for working with people.
Kevin heads the Tevalis global partnerships team, focused on the key regions of the UK, Europe, UAE and Asia Pacific. He was previously Tevalis Partnerships Manager and Sales Office Manager, and prior to joining he worked at Paymentsense. As our Director of Partnerships, Kevin focuses on managing, maintaining and onboarding new integrations and strategic partnerships, developing long-lasting mutually beneficial partner relationships, and promoting best of breed in integration technology for hospitality organisations using the Tevalis tech suite.
Daniel has extensive experience in project management and delivery, business development and operations. He has strong leadership skills, with a record of driving and guiding teams to achieve bottom-line impact and meet changing corporate needs. He was previously Tevalis Head of Projects and Implementation Manager, and prior to joining worked for Southern Graphic Systems. As our Head of Operations he brings expertise in PRINCE2 and experience in successfully delivering multi-stage projects from concept to completion, on time and to budget.
James is an Executive Board Member of Tevalis UK. He has dedicated his career to the hospitality sector and meeting its needs, and has a wealth of experience ranging from Operations Director at Tevalis to working for hospitality companies EAT, Greene King and Punch Taverns, via bespoke software design and development, and project management experience. Prior to joining Tevalis, James was a client services administrator at Venners. As General Manager for Tevalis Middle East, he has overall responsibility for our operations in the region.
