New client: The Light Cinemas Group

April 2, 2026

Tevalis is proud to announce a new partnership with The Light Cinemas Group, one of the UK’s most progressive multi-leisure operators, to deliver an enterprise food and beverage technology platform across its growing estate.

As part of Searchlight Ventures Group, The Light continues to evolve its strategy around integrated cinema, leisure, and hospitality experiences, with the expansion of All Star Lanes positioned as a key driver of future profitability. With an expanding estate and ambitious growth plans, the group is investing in a modern, scalable technology foundation to support the next phase of its journey.

The Challenge

The Light Cinemas represents a new wave of experience-led cinema operators, where F&B is no longer a secondary add-on but a core part of the customer proposition. Blending traditional multiplex trading — characterised by peak surges, timed admissions, and high-volume intervals — with a hospitality-led bar and kitchen offer creates significant operational complexity.

The business required a platform capable of supporting high-throughput service during peak cinema trading windows, multiple service points across concessions, bars, and dining areas, and seamless guest journeys across cinema, leisure, and F&B. Equally important were upsell-driven F&B experiences that extend beyond traditional concessions, and a scalable infrastructure able to support continued multi-leisure expansion.

The Tevalis Solution

Tevalis will deliver a dedicated F&B platform across the estate, designed to integrate seamlessly into The Light’s broader technology ecosystem and support its shift towards multi-leisure, F&B-led venues.

The platform will enable faster service across peak cinema windows, optimised kitchen workflows aligned to real service demand, and seamless handling of vouchers, memberships, and pre-orders, all underpinned by a consistent, connected guest journey across every touchpoint.

The initial deployment covers nine sites as the first phase of a 17-site estate transformation, comprising 41 POS terminals, 34 mPOS devices, 36 self-service kiosks, and 15 kitchen management systems.

Integrations

A central pillar of the project is a fully connected integration layer that enables seamless data flow between systems across the estate.

Tevalis will integrate with

  • Collins / DesignMyNight for reservations and table management
  • Fourth for stock and labour management
  • me&u to deliver order and pay capability

Enterprise payments will be handled through Windcave, while a custom API integration with Vista will support CRM, voucher redemption, and consolidated reporting.

The Outcome

The new platform replaces legacy infrastructure with a scalable, integration-first architecture, enabling The Light to continue its transition into a true multi-leisure, F&B-led operator.

Tevalis is proud to partner with The Light Cinemas Group and to support this next phase of the group’s journey.
