At Parogon Group, premium dining experiences depend on smooth service, reliable information and teams having the right tools at every point of the guest journey. Operating nine landmark venues across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire, with seven distinct concepts, the group needed technology that could support both individual sites and continued expansion.
Its legacy EPOS system could not provide the integrations, reporting or operational functionality the group required. Parogon wanted to strengthen stock and allergen management, improve kitchen and table service, and connect best-in-class hospitality platforms within one ecosystem.
Client:
Parogon Group
Industry:
Restaurants, Pubs & Bars
Scale:
Nine venues across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire, with seven distinct concepts
Challenge:
Disconnected systems and inconsistent operations across multiple venues
The Challenge
Parogon needed a flexible, scalable platform capable of supporting several different restaurant and pub concepts. The team required detailed, up-to-date financial reporting, simpler stock processes, intuitive interfaces and handheld ordering to improve speed of service.
Accurate calorie and allergen information was also a key consideration. The group wanted to connect website and stock-management data so dish information could be kept current, helping it meet labelling requirements and support a safer guest experience.
“We wanted a lot of the integrations. That was the difficulty for us. We wanted to bring in a best in class in various areas, but were struggling to do that.”
Ben Allison, Compliance and Projects Manager, Parogon Group
The Solution
Tevalis deployed EPOS terminals, TevX handheld ordering devices and kitchen management screens across Parogon’s estate. The rollout included 40 kitchen screens and 50 TevX handhelds, replacing paper-based ordering processes with connected digital workflows.
Tevalis Enterprise reporting provides access to accurate, current financial information, while integrations connect SevenRooms for reservations, Dojo for card payments, Toggle for gift cards, Yumpingo for guest feedback, Yapster for team communications and Tenzo for reporting.
The connected platform enables:
“From when the guest books and the server is tableside, they can already see information; as soon as they are on SevenRooms, they appear in Tevalis.”
Ben Allison
The Result
Faster adoption for venue teams
Although kitchen screens and handheld devices represented a major change from paper tickets and handwritten orders, teams adapted quickly to the intuitive system. TevX gives staff point-of-sale functionality at the table, helping them serve guests without repeatedly returning to a fixed terminal.
A more connected guest journey
Reservation information, tableside ordering and linked payments work together across the guest journey. This helps reduce manual steps for staff and makes the payment experience quicker and more streamlined for customers.
Better reporting and operational insight
The management team can access accurate, granular financial information as the group grows, helping it present performance data quickly and make decisions with more confidence. Feedback data also gives Parogon clearer visibility of what guests enjoy.
Ready for the next venue
With an estate-wide system and connected integrations in place, Parogon has a platform that can evolve alongside the business. The group had a tenth site planned, with confidence that its technology could support the next stage of growth.
“Moving to Tevalis to us was a very good decision. We needed to move on as a business and Tevalis helped us move forward.”
